bought one of these modems several months ago now,it works fine on windows 98/me.But when i upgraded to XP it wouldnt work at all.After e-mailing creative web site they informed me that it isnt compatible with windows XP and there will be NO drivers avaible in the future for windows XP.Thanks alot creative, £40 down the drain.You have been warned!!!!

This is a fantastic modem that is very simple to install and because it is an external modem it is portable, compact and indicates when you are online with lights on the box. If you are a novice all you need to do is attach one end of the serial cable to the back of the modem and the other to the relevant port on the computer, no need to open the computer. Then install software and it should be up and running. I would recommend this to most people as the software is upgradable and it is build by a reputable firm. As this is so easy, you have to be less than a novice not to be able to follow these simple instructions.

As a novice computer user I wouldnt reccomend this product. After installing I couldnt get a dial tone. The FAQs were hopeless and I tried several times to get support from Creative but all I got was automated replies - no personal help at all .
